A conversation on golf and Ireland is rarely heard without a mention of Ballybunion Old Course.
Ballybunion is perhaps the most sought after tee time in Ireland. The opening holes are ordinary in parts but once you reach the north corner of the course it explodes into a flurry of links golf. There are several holes which will etch into memories with the 14th through 18th in particular being our favorites.
Following your round we take the Shannon Ferry crossing from Tarbert to Killimer in County Clare. We continue along the west Atlantic coastline to Lahinch.
