South West Ireland - Escorted Tour - Day 1
A warm welcome to Ireland. A member of our team will greet you upon arrival in Shannon Airport. Once the introductions are complete we board the vehicle and set off for your first destination – Kinsale.
En route to Kinsale you will pass through parts of Ireland which have changed very little over the years. There are ample opportunities for sightseeing today including some of the following;
- Blarney Castle & the famous Stone of Eloquence
- Cobh Harbour – Where the Titanic last docked
- Cork City
- Kinsale – Charles Fort, which is a 17th century star shaped military fortress
- The Desmond Wine Museum of Kinsale tells the story of the Irish contribution to French wine making and trade.
