South West Ireland Classic - Day 3
County Kerry is famous for many things – Gaelic Football, spectacular scenery such as The Ring of Kerry, wonderful hotels and a selection of some of Ireland's top links courses.
Each year some of the world's best golfers visit Waterville Golf Links in preparation for the Open. Waterville is a pure links course which overlooks Skellig Bay. For any golfer visiting south west Ireland, we strongly urge you to keep Waterville on the itinerary. In the clubhouse you will see pictures of Tiger, Mark O'Meara, Davis Love and outside a life sized bronze statue of the club's late patron – Mr. Payne Stewart (R.I.P.).
The drive to Waterville takes in the best scenery of the Ring of Kerry. Following golf you can complete the Ring by driving south east and turning off in Sneem for the mountain approach back into Killarney National Park.
