South West Ireland Classic - Day 1
A warm welcome to Ireland. A member of our team will greet you upon arrival in Shannon Airport. Once the introductions are complete we board the vehicle or set you on your way if on a self driven tour. Your destination for today is Kinsale.
En route to Kinsale you will pass through parts of Ireland which have changed very little over the years. There are ample opportunities for sightseeing today including some of the following;
- Blarney Castle & the famous Stone of Eloquence
- Cobh Harbour – Where the Titanic last docked
- Cork City
- Kinsale – Charles Fort, which is a 17th century star shaped military fortress
- The Desmond Wine Museum of Kinsale tells the story of the Irish contribution to French wine making and trade
