Dublin Golf Break - Day 3
Today's course is interesting in many ways. There are 20 holes at The European Club where you will play today's round. Two are optional par 3's. The bunkers at the course are faced with railway ties (sleepers) – in some cases they assist the exit and in others the backwards shot is inevitable.
The European Club is designed and run by Pat Ruddy. The Ruddy family provides a warm welcome to visitors.
The Irish PGA has been held at The European Club 2007, 2008 and 2009 and Padraig Harrington has won all three. Harrington went onto victory at the Open in 2007 and 2008 at The Open. Perhaps preparation at the European Club is part of Padraig's formula for victory?
