Links Golf Ireland launches inaugural 2010 Friends of Ireland Golf Classic.

This event is set to take place in Ireland and Northern Ireland from 26th September to 30th September 2010. What a great lead into Ryder Cup week which takes place in nearby Wales at The Celtic Manor. Golfers will compete as pairs over three tournament days. The tournament will play the premier links courses of the East Coast including Royal County Down, The Island Golf Club and Portmarnock Golf Club.
"Since the event was announced in July and previewed by our past clients we've had an overwhelming response. Already, we are on target to fill capacity by mid November. Most of the attendees are combining the trip with other travel and will arrange pre or post golf/leisure trips through Emerald Elite Group" says Garreth Cooke, Managing Director.
The event will be co-managed by Legacy Destination Management, a sister company. Links Golf Ireland is an outstanding golf tour operator who has been setting the bar high with their trips for discerning golfers. Over the past six years we've hosted golfers from all over the world – Including several high end incentive golf trips. Several past clients of Links Golf Ireland will return and this event has already been identified as an ideal incentive trip for clients or employees. Legacy will be handling all the dynamics of this event which will be attended by 120 guests.
